ORIX has been in the business of acquiring, developing, leasing and disposing of real estate properties since acquiring a Chicago based development group from Rubloff in the 1980's.

ORIX has developed, leased, and sold over 16 million square feet of properties across the United States.  Our projects include major shopping centers, office buildings, apartments, warehouses and condominiums.  Many, but not all, projects were undertaken as joint ventures with local developers.  Additionally, we have constructed many build to suit projects for corporate user tenants.

With vacancy levels high in most markets, negative absorbtion and uncertain public policies towards business ORIX currently is not actively seeking additional development projects, although we are always open to opportunity if a compelling situation arises.
